Account Manager

Motivated agency account manager to work in a rewarding, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Experience: 5-6 years – agency experience, B2B experience, especially in the building products category is a plus

Responsibilities
  • Manage a group of LO Accounts – centered around an anchor account or 2 and mixed with smaller accounts (which are supported by a Junior AM)
  • Be the day-to-day contact on the account portfolio
  • Manage relationship, all projects from start to completion, budgets, billing
  • Responsible for developing quarterly SWOT and action plan - with team input - for account portfolio
  • Lead weekly production meeting and client status calls for those accounts
  • Work closely with senior leaders on the business to organize and proactively plan for upcoming activity and new opportunities
  • Work with senior management and the Junior AM to develop client monthly executive reports
  • Work closely with Director of Account Management to continue to learn and grow the AM function at LO, creating process, consistency and overall leadership of accounts
  • Manage jobs via agency software tool, ensuring profitability, communicating and addressing any potential over-budget issues
  • Keeping all projects on task - from timing and budget perspectives, communicating to team and senior management any gaps
  • Develop presentations and marketing plans – acting as the owner – with support from senior LO staff and team collaboration
  • Strong digital acumen on digital strategy, implementation and reporting
  • Possess a can-do spirit and an intellectual curiosity to learn and uncover market intelligence
  • Possess a hunter mentality to grow current client business by recognizing new opportunities for growth
  • Maintain regular relationships with client contacts and make senior management aware of any changes, threats, etc.
  • Working out of Pittsburgh-based office
